Theo has more than 30 years of experience as an organizer, administrator, facilitator, mediator and trainer. His primary work has been with citizen organizations and other non-profit groups that work for human rights, racial reconciliation, international peace and social justice. Major national organizations he has worked for include: Amnesty International, Common Cause, Ground Zero, the Faith and Politics Institute, Academy for Educational Development and America Speaks. He has also served as a consultant to numerous government agencies including the U.S. State Department, the Center for Disease Control, the U. S. Navy, and NOAA. In 1985 he was one of the founders of Project Victory and worked for ten years as the Executive Director of that organization. He received his B.A. degree from Baylor University and has an M. David W. Campt, PhD
Dr. Campt currently provides consultation about civic engagement, collective decision-making and inclusion and equity to many types of client, including United States congressional representatives, the foundation community, and national community organizations, universities, and others. Before becoming full-time consultant in 1999, Dr. David Campt worked as a senior policy associate with the President' s Initiative on Race at the White House from September 1997 until the end of 1998. Dr. Campt is considered a national leader in civic engagement, particularly concerning the dynamics of working with large groups. Matthew is a facilitator and trainer with over 10 years experience working on race and diversity issues, civic engagement, and organizational development. He has pioneered the use of cutting-edge audience response technology to make group conversations more productive and participatory. Matthew has published numerous articles on the subject, including “Using keypad polling to make meetings more productive, educational, and participatory” in the National Civic Review.
Matthew has worked with a diverse roster of clients, including the University of Richmond, Leadership Metro Richmond, the National Institutes of Health, the University of South Dakota,and the Maryland National Capital Parks and Planning Commission. He is the President of TMI Consulting, based in Richmond, Virginia.
Ngozi T. Robinson
Ms. Ngozi T. Robinson is a program manager, facilitator and conflict resolution specialist who has worked extensively on issues relating to social justice, particularly race relations and cultural diversity. As a consultant, Ngozi provide services in: conflict resolution & facilitation; non-profit program management; web production and graphic design. She focused on contracts to: develop and launch new programming; use her expertise in social justice and web-based technology; do significant research and writing; and use her advanced facilitation and conflict resolution skills. Ngozi has worked on projects for AARP Maryland, the National Conference for Community and Justice, The National Association of Tribal Historic Preservation Officers, and numerous other national and community-based organizations.
Ngozi is also an ordained minister, and has served as a hospital chaplain and an assistant pastor for large congregations. In addition, she is an accomplished web site designer. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity College in Washington, DC, has a Masters of Science degree from the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA., and a Masters of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School in Newton, MA. McCrae A. Parker is a passionate non-profit professional with 20 years of experience in the field. He has served in non-profit organizations at the local, state and national levels and held positions that have ranged from service provider to policy advocate to special initiatives director. Most recently, McCrae was the Managing Director at ZeroDivide, a capacity building organization based in San Francisco Bay Area focused on leveraging technology to achieve social equity in education, workforce development, health and civic engagement outcomes for underserved communities.
Julia brings over twenty five years of corporate and consulting experience in strategy deployment, organizational change, and leadership development.She is a recognized expert in new collaborative technologies that expedited the integration of the largest acquisition on record for a $1.5B high tech company. Julia designed and delivered organization design forums for cross-company global teams that achieved business objectives and built trusting working relationships in record time.
One of Julia specialities is in large-scale multi-stakeholder engagement. Julia has facilitated 1000-person technology enabled meetings to provide fast cycle feedback to decision makers in a way that enlists broad support and concrete follow-up action for the collective vision that develops. Her clients include Chevron Corporation, Cisco Systems, Inc., Hewlett-Packard, Gap, Inc., JDS Uniphase, Cedar River Paper Company, American Medical Systems, Inc., and other public sector and not-for-profit clients.
Julia earned an MBA from Stanford University and a Bachelor in Industrial Administration from Kettering University. In 2003, the Stanford Graduate School of Business awarded Julia the Jerry I. Porras Latino Leadership award to recognize her professional achievements and her contributions to the community.
Kevin Michael Williams, M.D., M.B.A.
Dr. Williams is a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist based in the Washington DC area. He works with individuals and families of all ages, races, and socioeconomic status. Most of his clients he sees face to face, but he has delivered his services over Skype, which means he has had clients all over the United States. Kevin's website is here.
Kevin has served as a consultant to the National Fatherhood Initiative, and in that capacity appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show to discuss his insights concerning the importance of fathers in the growth and development of boys as well as girls within families seeking success. He has co-founded two organizations and works with others to lecture on and study techniques to promote strong successful families and individuals. He has also served in leadership positions on the State of the African-American Maie project, convened by Congressman Danny Davis.
He has an undergraduate degree in psychology from Princeton, a degree in medicine from Case Western Reserve University, and an MBA from Yale. He interned at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and completed his residency in psychiatry at the Connecticut Valley Psychiatric Hospital, which is an affiliated with at Yale Medical School. Kevin also completed a child psychiatry fellowship at the Yale Child Study Center. In addition, he completed an Administrative Psychiatry one year fellowship while getting his business degree.
Kevin and his wife Dr. Judy Fentress-Williams have two children, Samantha and Jacob, who are 18 and 13 respectively.
